A couple of posts ago I announced that I am running the PF Changs Half Marathon, partly to let family and friends know but mostly because I felt like if I announced it I would have to go through with it, no backing out (because as we all know I can be a flake sometimes). However, I am now realizing I'm more out of shape than I thought I was! I'm kinda freaking out now!
Also, I started a blog to track my runs and workouts, plus I think it will be fun to look back on when I'm there and can run longer distances. Okay, now that I've gotten that off my chest I feel better. One thing I have remembered is how peaceful and relaxing it is to run at the most beautiful time of the day with beautiful surroundings! I wish I lived somewhere that had awesome running trail like this picture:

It will be nice when the weather cools down and I can do trail runs in the desert. I guess I could do them now but I don't want to be running alone in the early morning. Anyway, wish me luck - I feel like I'm going to need it!

Holy cow....i can't imagine training for half a marathon. I can't imagine training for 1 mile! Wow....you are very brave. You go, girl!
