Boring

Am I the only one who feels like they lead the world's most boring life? With Ryan being in school and us trying to save, save, save for a house we don't really get out much. Plus, being childless makes me feel even more boring blog-wise. I can't wait to be out of this stage in life.
Ya, ya I know I should be living life to the fullest and that we'll probably someday look back and miss this stage without kids, but it's hard when you're poor!!! It's almost kinda sad the things that I enjoy doing; i.e. watching too much TV, grocery shopping (the only guilt-free shopping I do lately), and lately running. Which on a side-note: I've really started to enjoy running around my neighborhood because there are such pretty views in all four directions since I'm surrounded by farmland. I see views like this:

and this:

AND this:

(another little side note: check out my broken window in the second picture - NEVER own a Volkswagen without a warranty the stupid window regulators brake)

Anyway, back to the subject! I feel like I'm wasting this precious time away by not taking advantage of life and having time to myself, but I don't know what else we can do on a budget! What does everyone else do for fun with the hubby/boyfriend or the girls? I am in desperate need of ideas of fun things to do. I feel so pathetic sitting at home all the time, if anyone wants to hang out sometime or put together some kind of group (like a monthly craft or movie night or a workout buddy) you let me know!

Hey, I guess this is a Holman trend, but reading your blog sounded exciting if that is any indication at how boring our lives are. We are in a house, so now all we do is save so we can buy crap for the house. We basically do house stuff and watch TV, so you two are exciting in our book.

Hey Karlee! I love your blog and I just had a quick question for you... can you tell me what steps I need to take to make my blog private? I'd appreciate any comments from you! I googled it and couldn't find anything to help me! Hopefully you can give me some pointers to guide me. Thank you so much! Take care! :)

I am right there with you. Starting next week I will be working like crazy (which may sound entertaining but I am dreading it) I love TV. It is sad. Sometimes I will go walk around stores but leave my $$$ in the car so I'm not tempted to buy anything. Once it starts cooling down you will be able to go outside more and go hiking, ride a bike, that kind of stuff!

Add me to the list of tight budget families. We don't do a lot, but try to invite friends over for dinner, then they do it in return and/or we offer to bring part of the meal. We movie swap w/ siblings and watch for coupons or nightly specials (i.e. sonic, etc.) I will get some together and email you. And call me anytime to hangout! Were always around:)
