Consider yourself warned!

I've always thought it was kinda funny how by reading somebodies blog, it's usually pretty obvious what their life revolves around. For a stay at home mom who spends all day with her kids, most of the posts are about her family. For an engaged blogger, her posts are all about wedding planning. For a stylish shopaholic, her posts are usually about her new favorite products or clothes/shoes she loves. Where am I going with this you ask? I'm just forewarning you that seeing as I am pregnant with our first baby, you should expect that whenever you check my blog, my posts will most likely be about baby/pregnancy stuff ... or house stuff. But mostly baby :) So if you are the type who is annoyed by people's blogs only ever being about one thing, consider yourself warned!!! :)

I've also always wondered why nobody ever talks about being pregnant. Why is that? Is it because it might scare other women into not having kids?! It kinda makes me feel like I shouldn't talk about my pregnancy because people don't really talk about it. I've decided, however, that since my blog is private and I don't get to see my family & friends as often as I'd like, I'm talking about my pregnancy dang it!

So, without further adieu, onto the baby stuff!
I felt the baby move for the first time yesterday! It was exactly what everyone said it would feel like ... a butterfly in your stomach. It still freaks me out (but in a good way) to think about when I'm 35 weeks and the baby is moving all around. That will be weird! I'm really excited to be able to feel the baby move because I didn't get morning sickness. Seriously. I felt nauseated once for about 15 seconds. And yes, I know how extremely lucky I am! But what you don't think about is if you have zero pregnancy symptoms, you never actually feel pregnant so this pregnancy hasn't felt real at all to me yet. So it'll be nice to actually 'feel' pregnant. And speaking of feeling pregnant, I'm starting to show. It's more of a pooch but it's quickly growing into a belly, I swear it grows by the hour! I can't believe I'm four months already, it is going by so fast! My doctor has been ordering monthly ultrasounds and I'm thinking they'll probably be able to tell what sex the baby is at the next one in about a week! So, as tradition, can you guess what the sex will be? I put a poll to the right, so guess away!

That's exciting that you felt your baby move, it's so fun and weird! Crazy how it takes so long to show for your first one but changes the more you have. With this one(my 3rd) I started showing at like 3 mths and now I'm almost 6 mths and some people tell me I look ready:-) I get huge by the way! I'm excited to hear what you're having!

i didnt blog about my pregnancies just for the mere fact that i didnt want to be a negative nancy... as we all know, i do NOT like being pregnant one bit. BUT, everyone is different. and I think you are having a boy.

I think no one talks about being pregnant because during the pregnancy all you're doing is getting ready and once the baby comes you just forget about the pregnancy and your whole life is all about the new baby. But I'll talk about it all day long so if you have questions just pass them my way. So why are you getting monthly ultrasounds? And where is your new house if Jen could jog there then you're close to me too! And I think you're having a boy, which with my record means its a girl! haha

I love baby updates too!!! It's so fun to hear other peoples experiences. I always remember people being SOOO happy for me which I thought was great and all, but I never understood why they were SO happy for me. Once I had Sharlie I totally understood why everyone was so happy, being a mom really is amazing!
I never blogged about my pregnancy b/c I was so sick, but now that it's over my friends with kids and I talk about our pregnancies a lot.
Are you coming to girls night, I for sure want to see you all cute and prego!!!
ps. I think it's a boy!
